    • - Amendments: QEGNTE reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms
  2. 2 User Eligibility

    • - Age Requirement: All users must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. Minors may use the platform with parental consent.
    • - Compliance: All users must comply with applicable local, national, and international laws while using the platform.
    • - Registration: Users must provide accurate and truthful information during the registration process and keep their account information up-to-date.
  3. 3 Platform Usage

    • - Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and are liable for any activities that occur under their account.
    • - Prohibited Activities: Users may not engage in illegal activities, harassment, or actions that could harm the platform or other users. This includes, but is not limited to, hacking, spamming, and infringing on intellectual property rights.
    • - Content Submission: Users may not submit content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others. QEGNTE reserves the right to remove such content and take appropriate action against the offending user.
  4. 4 Intellectual Property

    • - Ownership: Users retain ownership of their submissions unless explicitly transferred under specific contest rules.
    • - Licensing: By using the platform, users grant QEGNTE and, where applicable, hosting companies a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote their submissions in connection with contests and platform marketing.
    • - Third-Party Content: Users must respect third-party intellectual property rights and may not submit or use content without proper authorization.
  5. 5 Financial Transactions

    • - Payment Obligations: Companies must transfer the full amount of reward money to QEGNTE before a contest begins. This ensures that prize funds are secured and can be distributed to winners promptly
    • - Refund Policy: Any refunds, whether for entry fees or prize funds, are subject to the terms outlined in the specific contest rules and QEGNTE’s policies.
    • - Transaction Fees: QEGNTE may charge fees for certain transactions, which will be disclosed before the transaction is completed.
  6. 6 Privacy and Data Protection

    • - Data Collection: QEGNTE collects personal data as necessary for the operation of the platform and contests. Users consent to the collection, use, and storage of their data in accordance with QEGNTE’s privacy policy. This includes the use of the phone microphone for audio recording when necessary for specific contest functionalities or features.
    • - Data Security: QEGNTE takes reasonable measures to protect user data, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for safeguarding their own account information.
    • - Data Sharing: User data may be shared with third parties as necessary for contest operations, but will not be sold or shared for unrelated purposes without user consent.
  7. 7 Wallet Functionality

    • - Automatic Wallet Creation: Upon registration, a wallet is automatically created for each user role (companies, moderators, judges, and contestants) on the QEGNTE platform
    • - Deposits: Users can deposit funds into their wallet through local providers using a payment portal. QEGNTE does not collect or store any payment data during this process
    • - Withdrawals: Users can withdraw funds from their wallet to a bank account or mobile money provider, subject to an agreement with QEGNTE. A minimum withdrawal amount, set by the platform, must be met to process withdrawals
  8. 8 Contest Operations

    • - Fairness: QEGNTE is committed to ensuring that all contests are conducted fairly and transparently. All parties involved (companies, moderators, judges, and contestants) must adhere to the contest rules and ethical standards.
    • - Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, users must first attempt to resolve the issue through QEGNTE’s internal dispute resolution process. QEGNTE’s decision will be final unless otherwise specified by law.
  9. 9 Liability and Indemnification

    • - Platform Liability: QEGNTE is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or participation in contests.
    • - User Responsibility: Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless QEGNTE, its affiliates, and partners from any claims or damages arising from their use of the platform or violation of these terms.
    • - Service Availability: QEGNTE does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform and may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, updates, or other reasons
  10. 10 Termination of Account

    • - Termination by QEGNTE: QEGNTE reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account for violations of these terms or for engaging in prohibited activities.
    • - Termination by User: Users may terminate their account at any time. Upon termination, any ongoing contest participation will be forfeited, and no refunds will be provided.
  11. 11 Governing Law

    • - Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where QEGNTE is registered. Any legal actions arising from these terms will be heard in the courts of that jurisdiction.
    • - Dispute Resolution: Any disputes not resolved through QEGNTE’s internal processes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the designated arbitration body

Company

  1. 1 Eligibility to Host Contests

    • - Company Registration: Only registered companies with verified profiles can create and host contests.
    • - Compliance: Companies must comply with local, national, and international laws, including data protection and intellectual property laws.
  2. 2 Contest Requirements

    • - Clear Objectives: Each contest must have clearly defined objectives, rules, and criteria for participation and evaluation.
    • - Fairness: Contests must be fair, and companies must not engage in any form of bias or discrimination in the selection of winners.
    • - Content Guidelines: Companies must ensure that contest content is appropriate, non-offensive, and does not promote illegal activities.
  3. 3 Intellectual Property

    • - Ownership: Companies must respect the intellectual property rights of contestants. Ownership and usage rights of submissions should be clearly defined in the contest details.
    • - Licensing: If a company requires a license to use submissions, the terms of this license must be explicitly stated and agreed upon by participants.
  4. 4 Data Protection and Privacy

    • - Data Usage: Companies must only collect data necessary for the contest and must outline how this data will be used, stored, and protected.
    • - Consent: Participants must give explicit consent to the collection and use of their personal data.
  5. 5 Financial Responsibilities

    • - Entry Fees: If a contest involves entry fees, the company must clearly state the fees and refund policies.
    • - Prize Fund Transfer: Companies are required to transfer the full amount of the reward money to QEGNTE before the contest begins. This ensures that the prize is secured and can be distributed to the winners promptly after the contest concludes.
    • - Prizes: Companies must clearly define the prizes, including delivery timelines, and ensure they fulfill all prize obligations. The prize funds held by QEGNTE will be released to the winners based on the results determined by the contest judges.
    • - Refunds: If a contest is canceled or if no winner is selected, QEGNTE will refund the prize fund to the company, minus any applicable administrative fees.
  6. 6 Contest Administration

    • - Transparency: Companies must ensure transparency in the administration of the contest, including the judging process and the announcement of winners
    • - Dispute Resolution: Companies must provide a clear process for handling disputes and complaints related to the contest.
  7. 7 Legal Compliance

    • - Non-Infringement: Companies must ensure that the contest does not infringe on any third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
    • - Indemnification: Companies agree to indemnify QEGNTE against any legal claims arising from their contests.
  8. 8 Termination of Contest

    • - Cancellation: Companies reserve the right to cancel or modify the contest if necessary, but must provide notice to participants and refund any entry fees where applicable.
    • - Breach of Terms: QEGNTE reserves the right to terminate a contest or ban a company from hosting future contests if they breach any of these terms.
  9. 9 Liability

    • - Limitations: QEGNTE is not liable for any damages, losses, or legal actions resulting from a company’s contest.
    • - Responsibility: Companies are fully responsible for the administration and execution of their contests.
  10. 10 Amendment of Terms

    • - Updates: QEGNTE reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Companies will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Moderator

  1. 1 Moderator Eligibility

    • - Verification: Moderators must undergo a verification process to confirm their qualifications and suitability for overseeing contests.
    • - Conflict of Interest: Moderators must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and must not participate in contests they are moderating.
  2. 2 Responsibilities

    • - Fair Oversight: Moderators must ensure that all aspects of the contest are conducted fairly and in accordance with the established rules.
    • - Communication: Moderators are responsible for communicating with contestants and companies in a clear, timely, and respectful manner.
    • - Rule Enforcement: Moderators must enforce the contest rules impartially and consistently, addressing any violations promptly.
  3. 3 Judging and Evaluation

    • - Objective Assessment: Moderators must ensure that the judging process is objective, transparent, and free from bias.
    • - Confidentiality: Moderators must maintain confidentiality regarding contestant submissions and any sensitive information related to the contest
  4. 4 Reporting and Documentation

    • - Incident Reporting: Moderators must document and report any issues, disputes, or rule violations to QEGNTE and the hosting company
    • - Feedback: Moderators should provide constructive feedback to participants where applicable, especially in cases of disqualification or rule violations.
  5. 5 Code of Conduct

    • - Professionalism: Moderators must maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity throughout the contest.
    • - Respect: Moderators must treat all participants, companies, and fellow moderators with respect and courtesy.
  6. 6 Data Protection

    • - Privacy Compliance: Moderators must ensure that all participant data is handled in compliance with privacy laws and QEGNTE's data protection policies.
    • - Data Access: Moderators should only access participant data necessary for performing their duties and must not misuse or share this data.
  7. 7 Dispute Resolution

    • - Neutrality: Moderators must act as neutral parties in resolving any disputes between contestants or between contestants and the hosting company.
    • - Final Decision: In the event of a dispute, the moderator’s decision should be final unless an appeal process is outlined by the contest rules.
  8. 8 Compensation and Benefits

    • - Payment Terms: Moderators will be compensated for their services as agreed upon with the hosting company or QEGNTE. Payment terms must be clear and adhered to.
    • - Bonuses: Any bonuses or additional benefits must be documented and agreed upon before the contest begins.
  9. 9 Liability

    • - Accountability: Moderators are accountable for their actions and decisions during the contest. Any misconduct may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the platform.
    • - Indemnity: Moderators agree to indemnify QEGNTE against any claims or damages arising from their conduct during a contest.
  10. 10 Termination of Duties

    • - Removal: Moderators may be removed from a contest by QEGNTE or the hosting company for failing to adhere to these terms or for any misconduct.
    • - Resignation: Moderators must provide notice if they need to resign from their duties before a contest is completed, allowing time for a replacement to be arranged
  11. 11 Amendment of Terms

    • - Updates: QEGNTE reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Moderators will be notified of any changes, and continued moderation services constitute acceptance of the new terms.

Judge

  1. 1 Judge Eligibility

    • - Qualification: Judges must have relevant expertise or qualifications related to the contest they are judging.
    • - Impartiality: Judges must disclose any relationships or interests that could create a conflict of interest and must not judge contests where such conflicts exist.
    • - Verification: Judges may need to undergo a verification process to confirm their credentials and suitability
  2. 2 Responsibilities

    • - Fair Judging: Judges are responsible for evaluating contest entries impartially, based on the criteria established by the hosting company.
    • - Confidentiality: Judges must keep all contest submissions and deliberations confidential and must not share or discuss them with unauthorized parties.
    • - Timely Evaluation: Judges must complete their evaluations within the timeframe specified by the contest rules
  3. 3 Judging Criteria

    • - Adherence to Rules: Judges must evaluate entries strictly according to the criteria set out in the contest guidelines.
    • - Transparency: Judges should be transparent about how they arrive at their decisions and, if required, provide feedback to contestants.
  4. 4 Ethical Standards

    • - Integrity: Judges must uphold the highest standards of integrity and must not engage in any form of favoritism, bias, or unethical behavior.
    • - Respect: Judges must treat all contestants and their work with respect, regardless of the outcome of the contest.
  5. 5 Decision-Making Process

    • - Independent Judgment: Judges must form their own independent opinions and not be unduly influenced by other judges, moderators, or companies
    • - Consensus: Where applicable, judges may be required to work together to reach a consensus decision, especially in team-based judging panels.
  6. 6 Data Protection

    • - Data Privacy: Judges must handle all participant data in accordance with privacy laws and QEGNTE's data protection policies.
    • - Secure Handling: Judges should ensure that all submissions and related data are securely stored and only accessible to authorized individuals
  7. 7 Feedback and Reporting

    • - Constructive Feedback: Where permitted, judges should provide constructive feedback to contestants to help them understand the strengths and weaknesses of their submissions.
    • - Incident Reporting: Judges should report any irregularities, breaches of contest rules, or unethical behavior to QEGNTE or the hosting company.

    • - Payment: Judges will be compensated for their services as agreed upon with the hosting company or QEGNTE. Payment terms must be clear and adhered to

    • - Registration: Contestants must register for the contest through the QEGNTE platform and provide accurate and truthful information during the registration process
    • - Adherence to Rules: Contestants must follow the specific rules and guidelines outlined for each contest. Failure to do so may result in disqualification
    • - Original Work: All submissions must be original and created by the contestant. Plagiarism or submission of work that infringes on third-party rights is strictly prohibited.

    • - Confidentiality: Contestants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and any other sensitive information.

    • - Fair Play: Contestants must compete fairly and not engage in any form of cheating, fraud, or manipulation of the contest process
    • - Respect: Contestants must treat fellow participants, judges, moderators, and hosting companies with respect. Harassment, bullying, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
    • - No Interference: Contestants must not attempt to interfere with the operations of the contest, the platform, or other contestants’ submissions.
  6. 6 Submission Guidelines

    • - Format and Deadlines: Contestants must ensure that their submissions meet the format, size, and content requirements specified by the contest, and must submit their work by the deadline
    • - Revisions: Once submitted, entries are typically final. If revisions are allowed, this will be specified in the contest rules
  7. 7 Judging and Evaluation

    • - Judging Criteria: Contestants agree to be judged according to the criteria set forth in the contest rules. The decision of the judges is final and not subject to appeal.
    • - Feedback: Contestants may receive feedback on their submissions, depending on the contest rules. This feedback is intended to be constructive and should be received in that spirit.
